Interesting Commentry on legal file sharing

http://p2p-weblog.com/ "NBC Not getting it." This was an intriguing article though concise because it brought up the topic of what media giants, in this case NBC and itunes are trying to do to entice downloaders to acheive their excellence, through downloading, legally. This article states that NBC is considering withdrawing from there agreement to sell episodes of their shows on itunes for 2 dollars, this is because they want to raise that price to 5 dollars. Something apple board members wont do. (Are they a C-corp or an S-Corp, it doesn't really matter). Can't the NBC high rollers, who are pulling in outragous amounts of money already, that they are kissing away that two hundred foot yacht by doing this. Don't they understand that the market share of legally downloaded material is so low already that if they try to raise to prices they would lose the only consumers left of the open networks of the web. P2P downloading will only increase if this were to happen and thus profits would only fall.

The next article on this blog "P2P for A.I." completely switches gears and formally asks readers to donate there computer so it is accessible over a network. This network will link enough personal computers together to acheive the desired magnitude equal to the 100 billion neurons that are constantly firing in every humans brain. Project Leader Ovidiu Anghelidi says once this is accomplished we can create Artificial Intelligence equal to the capacity of the human mind. Lets just say this is the first P2P networks that I, in way, shape, or form, condon in fact it scares the shit out of me. I can say no more.
